Upgrade of synthesis production in synthesis factory F2 with a new source
Project description
This is an ongoing project at Lundbeck A/S Lumsås where the existing process plant in synthesis factory F2 is being upgraded with a new type of mixing source to supply one of the existing reactors in the synthesis hall. In connection with the upgrade the new source will be provided with panels for managing valves and general handling.
The process
Lundbeck is responsible for the overall project management, HAZOP, mechanical installation of components and qualification of the new process equipment. Process Engineering reports to the project manager from Lundbeck and provides consulting services in process, electricity/SRO relating to the process plant, electricity supply and CE marking. We have also prepared an ATEX report for the entire installation, and a combined panel with a valve, a pump and a mixer to manage the source and reactor is installed.
In order to streamline the process, and in partnership with Lundbeck, we focus on how the tests performed during qualification can be integrated in the CE marking.
